Injection Burn Remix
DJ Amethyst and Rob Campbell are the talent behind this
inspiring piece of Trance. (By the way - does anybody know
where Rob is?) Rob being one of the ground breaking DJs
in the underground scene - long before the likes of those
who are regarded as setting today's scene were even a glint
in the promoters cash register! This guy proved to be a
huge inspiration to us at Hinotori Sound, with legendary
melodic trance sets at Sunnyside Up, many eons before Trance
became mainstream and long before Sunnies became a crap
club - infested by various gurners, frotters and scum sucking
low lifes from the London scene! And that just the DJs!
Rob never got the credit he deserved for the contribution
he made, but if this means anything at all, Rob will always
be to us, along with Talla 2XLC and Marino Stephano, the
GodFather of Melodic Trance, and if there was any justice,
his excellent night WOSP, would by now be a mega club to
rival the likes of Gatecrasher etc. Instead, as with most
good things, he was way ahead of his time...
As
if to demonstrate the injustice of the cruel business we
call 'Music' this tune was born. It bears out our belief
that you should never sell out what you believe in, and
never forget who you are, where you came from, nor how you
got there. If this melody doesn't pull at the strings in
your heart, then nothing will, and we won't even bother
trying!
The
remix is by the wonderful Transfer Injection Burn, who take
this tune to a new plateau, but never away from the original.
In short, a proper remix, by proper professionals! Stand
by for more from these guys!
